Selma Spa is located just in front of Lake Fryken and is a safe place for you to reconnect with yourself, beyond everyday schedules and all your daily must-dos. Here, training and relaxation goes hand in hand and you will find all kinds of nature experiences around the corner. Find tranquility in the fresh air, be embraced by the beautiful scenery on the knot with fantastic hiking trails or challenge yourself with a ride on a mountain bike.

Selma Spa is one of Sweden's first real Spa. In 2018, Selma spa received the award as Värmland's first hotel in the White Guide as one of the most interesting, exciting and best hotels in Sweden. It is not difficult to understand why when one feels so strongly the calm that is found in the surroundings and in the philosophy that is permeated by the care and responsibility of both the planet and the guests. The food served consists of ingredients from local producers. Personal assistance and help is offered during the training sessions, all so that you can find a fresh beginning for yourself.

Spa & Exercise - Selma spa is a place for relaxing and replenishing energy. Our wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors combined with our sauna rituals, indoor and outdoor pools and treatments gives us the pleasure to offer our guests a well-deserved and relaxing stay. 

Food and beverages at Selma Spa - Restaurang Smak serves a large, delicious breakfast buffet, an exciting lunch buffet and dishes from the a la carte menu. The Lobby Bar serves everything from salads and burgers to shrimp sandwiches or something refreshing from the bar. Of course, you should be able to enjoy everything with good conscience. Therefore, we carefully select local and seasonal raw materials, as ecologically as possible. With a gentle and loving hand, we refine them with the best possible taste and the least possible waste in mind.

The hotel has 184 hotel rooms of which 16 are suites, all with lake views of Fryken.
